The Mysterious I. D. Vide in Newton’s Nemesis is a great classroom or library resource that can generate mathematical thinking from 4th to 7th grades.  Aligned with the current curriculum and written by a professor of mathematics education, teachers use the series to talk about the different meanings of fractions, multiplication, and division. Extension activities include exploring the life of Benjamin Banneker and decoding the coordinate plane.

This graphic novel combines all three issues of the math mystery comic book series and has new activities between each chapter.
