Teachers can use these activities as an “Entrance & Exit Tickets” to reading the math mystery comic book, The Mysterious I. D. Vide in Newton’s Nemesis, Issue No. 2.
The entrance ticket allows students to connect their knowledge of whole number multiplication to discover that three-fifths are 3 one-fifths. After reading the comic book, students can practice dividing by unit fractions using the exit ticket.
Printable worksheets and colorful overhead displays are included.
